Updated? From what?
Or is this a new install?
What exactly do you want to do and what are you having problems with.
More information will help us to help you.
Thanks for the reply
My ubuntu was upgraded from 22.04LTS through 23.10 and eventually to 24.04LTS, then I wanted to install the kde-plasma desktop environment, and there was no prompts about desktop configurations during the installation process, and after the installation was complete, and reboot was done, it didn't allow me to select the desktop environment like the tutorial talked about.
In other words, I installed plasma but it doesn't work.
Also, I installed the kde-plasma-desktop version.
Is this a bug in newer versions of ubuntu?
When you get to the login screen with your username. Before you enter your password, if you click on the icon at the bottom right of the screen you can change the environment.
Do you not have an option for KDE Plasma there?
